    BEST TIME?  I'm type II
    Diabetic and take your
    Chia seed but don't know
how or when to take to get
    the most from them.  Do
    you have any suggestions
as to the best time to take
    for instance before or
after a meal or in between
    meals.  Thanks. - Dale
Hi Dale, One Type 2 diabetic I know takes them in the mornings with
a formula that I've come up with. His blood sugar levels have been
more than stable for the past year.  In fact, his doctor told him that
he's never seen anything like it.  I cannot sell the formula at this
time, unfortunately, but I can recommend that you soak 1
tablespoon of seeds overnight in a 1/2 cup of water(be sure to stir
them several times so they don't stick together) and then in the
morning, after drinking a cup of water (without seeds) and before
you have coffee or tea or anything else, drink the soaked seeds
water.  They don't have much of a taste, so it's not a big deal.  But
do drink them before your meal.  Add the dry seeds to your salads
during the day.  Hope that helps and hope you'll stay in touch
because I'm working on food products with chia seeds in them and
starting to do taste and texture samplings with various individuals.  I'd
love to write a short book someday about how I helped the diabetic I
mentioned above.  But right now I have to finish some other
projects.  Perhaps I can begin to write an article or blog post until I
can free up some time.  Do you think people, especially diabetics,
would be interested?  If you know other diabetics that can benefit
from chia seeds, I encourage you to send them to my site.  If enough
people get interested, we can increase our effectiveness and
    outreach.  Thanks - Joy
